Service is a very important technique in tennis and it is the only one that can be controlled by itself.It is getting more and more attention by many coaches,players and tennis researchers.The research on the tennis serve technology has gradually become one of the subjects of the tennis researchers.Therefore,it is very important to study the technique of the serve.With the methods of literature review,video observation,logical analysis,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,the author respectively analyzes service data in tennis matches of Zhang Shuai and five foreign rivals in 2016 Australian Open,summing up characteristic of serve technology.She also finds advantages and deficiencies of outstanding players in 2016 Australian Open,providing referencefor the other Chinese female athletes and even the other foreign athletes at the same level.The following are conclusions drawn from it:1.Throughout the 2016 Australian Open,the Ace ball of Zhang Shuai is very few,the double number has increased,and the service direct score drops down,whether win in the first forth round or lose in the fifth round,the service speed of Zhang Shuai is lower than his opponent,and there is a certain gap with the opponent.In the first 4 rounds of competition,the success rate of the first serve,the first point win,the second point win of Zhang Shuai are higher than those of the opponents,but the three indicators are declining in the fifth round.2.The percentage of each placement in the first service:wide>middle>body,in which located either deuce zone or advantage zone when win in the first forth round,the use of the wide and middle placement is over 70% no matter at deuce and advantage.the winning% on the wide and middle are higher than the body.Furthermore,the second serve have favored the site's body and backhand position of the adversary.3.The percentage of each placement in the first service:wide>middle,in which located either deuce zone or advantage zone when lose in the fifth round,and the tactical effect in deuce zone is not good.The percentage of each placement in the second service:body>middle>wide,in which located deuce zone,and the percentage of each placement in the second service:wide>body>middle,in which located advantage zone.4.The use% of backhand drive is highest in the third hits technique,the next is forehand drive.The third hits route of Zhang Shuai is the backhand position of adversary in a great measure,because most professional women's backhand position is relatively weak technology.The third back to the ball area is mostly backcourt,making to build a strong advantage in the service by the advantage of the serve and the third shots back to the depth of the ball.The losing rate is higher than the score rate in third shot.
