Quality education has become the main direction of China's education reform,promoting high school physical education has become the focus of the reform of quality education in senior high school.High school basketball physical education in the training of students' physical and cultural quality and other aspects of the role is unique,and thus by the attention of the high school.Basketball physical education is essential in order to enhance students' basketball sports skills and the ability to cultivate students' basketball interest in sports and hobbies as an important goal,to foster unity of sports spirit of students,promote students' long-term sports as the ultimate goal.High school students need to ridicule and regulation under the usual busy academic pressure,so basketball physical education become students' learning life essential regulator.However,due to differences in the quality of students of different learning,and limited ability of subjective learning initiative,and not every student loves the sport of basketball,basketball and traditional physical education faces some problems.In order to solve these problems,the author selected the first grade Suiping County high school students as the research object of study,focuses on the study of small group teaching model on students' basketball skills,students of basketball sports interest,the relationship between teachers and students,improve students solidarity and competition consciousness and other aspects of the impact.Small group teaching model changed the traditional teaching mode,change the students' passive learning status for basketball sports active learners,teachers' teaching abilities,respectively according to the basis of each group of students different arrangements,and the formation of character,good effect in the group,the students in the group to exchange experience,mutual aid,and group of students from each other,continue to progress in the competition.After investigation and research,the following conclusions are drawn:1)Through the implementation of "small group" teaching mode,the students in the experimental class have higher scores of basketball skills than those in the control class;2)the training result of basketball interest is also more obvious.Students' solidarity and mutual ability and competition awareness increased significantly;3)the relationship between teachers and students,students and the relationship between the students have been a certain degree of improvement;4)the students' enthusiasm for basketball learning significantly improved;5)"small group" teaching mode in high school basketball sports education in the implementation of feasibility.
