Parent-child relationship is the most fundamental and important family ties.As the first human relationship in children's life,Parent-child relationship has an important influence on children's personality formation,interpersonal communication,behavior cognition and so on.In the special family form of single parent family,parent-child relationship is more likely to have problems and it has a greater impact on the mental health and behavior patterns of single parent and their children.Therefore,establishing a harmonious and healthy parent-child relationship is a necessary requirement for family harmony and healthy development in a single parent family.This study uses the Satir family therapy model as the theoretical guidance,through the actual case of single parent families to intervene bad parent-child relationship and achieved effective results.In the process of research,this paper follows the steps and procedures involved in social work and combines the basic method and procedure for the Satir family therapy model and social work to guide clients learn new ways to communicate,develop new family rules,help the case of the master and his family to relieve the bad parent-child relationship.Through three in-depth intervention,It is successful for clients to find " high self-esteem" and reached the target on the expression of congruence.With the guidance of social workers,there is a good and healthy parent-child relationship.The successful practice of the intervention of case work to the case of bad parent-child relationship provides the experience for the intervention combined the Satir family model and social work and it also proved that the intervention of social worker in poor parent-child relationship can actively play professional advantages.
