“Opinions of the State Council on strengthening the construction of teaching staff” and “Professional standards for teachers in secondary vocational schools”clearly proposed the standard system of teacher professional development.The standard system of teacher professional development not only required teacher must improve their professional level,but is a challenge for the secondary vocational schools.At present,the a private medical private vocational school,a type of private and medical school,the teacher has its unique characteristics,but few researchers for these teachers' professional level.This study designed “The Questionnaire to basic situation of teaching staff”.We tested teachers of 4 school,private vocational school in Kunming,and we found that there are some problems in our construction of teaching staff.We used “The Questionnaire to professional development of secondary vocational schools” to tested teacher professional development in these 4 school.We found those teachers' professional level are slightly higher than acceptable level.We further analysed the factors of different age,teaching age,education background,workload,income,nature of graduated university,nearly a year training and research experience,and “double-quality” teachers by one-way ANOVA,it aim to compare professional level of teacher with different character.We found the dimension of professional idea and teachers morality was influenced by age,teaching age,workload and “double-quality” teachers;the dimension of professional knowledge was influenced by age,teaching age,education background,training experience and“double-quality” teachers;the dimension of professional ability was influenced by age,teaching age,training experience and “double-quality” teachers.Finally,we suggest that 4 school should improve their teacher' profession by individual teacher and organizations.
