The Research Of Patriotic Education Of Xinjiang College Students Under New Media Environment

The development of science and technology has changed the search-information and communication forms of college students,who are also becoming the main group to use WeChat,Microblog,Forum and other new media.The new media is widely used to influence college students ' behavior habits and the way of thinking.Meanwhile,it also brings great challenges to the patriotism education of college students.Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic,multi-religious,multi-cultural exchanging region.Currently,it is “Three Phases Superposition”,Xinjiang is facing serious ideological struggle.The “ three forces ” is infiltrating separatism and religious extremism to college students through using various new media.To get the ideological leadership in Xinjiang universities/colleges,and occupy new media forum,it is necessary to enhance the patriotic education of Xinjiang college students under new media environment.Through the questionnaire and interviews,this paper analyzes the current situation of patriotism education among Xinjiang college students.Under new media environment,not only the forms of patriotism education are becoming richer,college students are more preferable to participate patriotic education,meanwhile,it also improve their awareness to safeguard national unity.So the influence and effectiveness of patriotism education in Xinjiang college students have been further enhanced.Meanwhile,there are also existing series of problems.Due to complicity and virtuality of new media,the college students are weak in analyzing and distinguishing the internet information,moreover,the traditional education method is impacted during conducting patriotism education;furthermore,family,social and college educations are not forming joint forces,which impact the effectiveness of college students' patriotism education.This paper analyzes the reasons of existing problems to create favorable media ecology of patriotism education for college students,which is through improving the media literacy of educators and students,changing the educational methods,collecting education forces and sounding the supervision mechanism.The new media provides wide cyber space and education platform to patriotism education of college students.Meanwhile,it also sets up a communication media between teachers and students.This paper studies the existing problems and reasons of the patriotism education of Xinjiang college students under new media environment.And this paper explores the countermeasures through analysis,which not only enrich the related theories,but also provide some references to improve the patriotism education effect of Xinjiang college students under new media.
