With the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy in our country,the CPC central committee and the State Council carried out the decision deployment in a timely manner on guiding the transformation of parts of local colleges and universities from the comprehensive,academic-type into application-oriented ones,so as to promote the transformation and development of colleges and universities,to cultivate a large number of application-oriented,interdisciplinary and innovative talents,and to adapt to the requirements of economic restructuring and industrial transformation and upgrading.The decision deployment provided a good development opportunity for the higher vocational colleges,but also put forward much higher requirements for counselor team engaged in educational work.The thesis took the counselors incentive mechanism of Quanzhou higher vocational colleges as the research object.With the methods of questionnaire survey and individual interview,it understood and mastered the relevant circumstances of the counselor team and incentive mechanism in Quanzhou higher vocational colleges.It has also adopted the Two Factor Theory of Hertzberg,the Equity Theory of Adams and the Expectancy Theory of Vroom to analyze the defects in the counselor incentive mechanism from the aspects of compensation,assessment,development,and training,and draw lessons from the characteristics and effect of counselor incentive mechanism of other domestic vocational colleges.By taking the measures of raising floating compensation ratio,establishing the counselors' level of engagement,regulating the procedures and content of performance evaluation,carrying out vocational skills training,widening the channel of the training,making career planning and establishing a reasonable flow system,the incentive mechanism in Quanzhou higher vocational colleges will get a further improvement,so as to fully motivate and arouse the enthusiasm and innovation of the counselor work,and to have the counselor team play a more important role in promoting Quanzhou higher vocational colleges to serve the local economy much better.
