Research On The Transition Of Tangshan College To Applied Undergraduate Education

At present,China's rapid economic and cultural development,industrial structure from the original labor-intensive to technology-intensive,which requires higher education to develop more application-oriented talents.In order to improve the employment rate of college graduates,and to solve the problem of the introduction of applied technology talents in enterprises,it is of great significance to improve the employment rate of college graduates.In the meantime,The reform of local newly-built colleges is imminent.Through the analysis of the new local undergraduate colleges represented by Tangshan College as the result of the homogenization of the school-running model and the simplification of the specialty setting-up model,this paper uses the methods of literature review,comparative study,questionnaire and interview.The mode of talent cultivation is not suited to the needs of local economic and social development,the old idea of running a school is not clear,the goal of students' training is not clear,and the specialty of the school is not clear,and how to transform to the applied university according to their own characteristics.The functions of the university,the graduates trained to meet the needs of social and economic development,and the ability to serve the local industry,etc.Through the analysis of the problem of ideological transformation,subject setting,shortage of teachers in the transformation process of Tangshan College,the author puts forward some suggestions such as changing the school running thought,training mode transformation,scientific setting and so on.And put forward that we should pay more attention to the cultivation mode of production,learning and integration,and further improve the training system of diversified,highly skilled and innovative compound talents,and train the applied talents to highlight the professional ability and professional accomplishment,but also pay attention to social needs,Talent should be close to industry needs,in line with regional industrial structure update,and ultimately,to achieve higher education goals.
