As a significant part of our national higher education,higher vocational education is also the important base of constructing modern vocational education system.Developing higher vocational education is helpful to provide high-skilled talents for the transition of our industrial structures.High-skilled talents cannot be trained without the help of school-enterprise cooperation which is the inevitable choice of developing higher vocational education.As shown by practices,school-enterprise cooperation is a new school-running pattern which is led by the governments,made by schools and enterprises,participated in by teachers and students.It focuses on personnel training and industry-university-research collaboration.School-enterprise cooperation is also an effective coordination mechanism that reallocates education resources and redistributes benefits.In the past few years,school-enterprise cooperation in Quanzhou has got favorable achievements,and four core stakeholders including governments,enterprises,higher vocational colleges,teachers and students have obtained some benefits from it,but benefits of the stakeholders are not balanced and coordinated effectively.Various problems in the process of school-enterprise cooperation hamper its sustainable development.Therefore,we need to further innovate the system and mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation,explore the strategies of developing long-term cooperation from four perspectives which include governments,enterprises,higher vocational colleges,teachers and students,aiming at fundamentally pushing better and faster development of school-enterprise cooperation.In this paper,document analysis method,case study and comparative analysis method have been adopted.Directed by the stakeholder theory,it takes Quanzhou Institute of Technology as an example and focuses on the long-term development of its school-enterprise cooperation.Firstly,based on the prospective of the stakeholders,this paper analyzes the aspiration of benefits of the core stakeholders,including governments,enterprises,higher vocational colleges,teachers and students.Secondly,it takes Quanzhou Institute of Technology as a case study,analyzes its origin,development,achievements and problems which present in the school-enterprise cooperation,and explains the main reasons why those problems exist.Thirdly,with the help of comparative analysis method,this paper explores and gets enlightenment from the successful experience of school-enterprise cooperation in Xi'an Eurasia University,Zhejiang Business Technology Institute and Mannheim Vocational College.Finally,it puts forward some strategies from the micro perspectives of governments,enterprises,higher vocational colleges,teachers and students as well as the macro perspective of constructing thorough coordination mechanism,providing reference for the continuous development of the school-enterprise cooperation in higher vocational colleges.
