| Census data quality is the premise of population analysis,Is to ensure that the the credibility of the study.For the census,age structure is the most basic census data,the quality of the age data has a great impact on the population indicators,it is critical to assess the quality of age data before analyzing the census data.This paper examines the age data of the sixth census and the fifth census in Guizhou Province,to explore the quality of Guizhou Province census age data.Using the cohort study,the age-oriented preference test method and the international general index method to test the quality of the sixth census and the fifth census age data of Guizhou Province.By comparing the age data of the sixth,fifth and fourth censuses in Guizhou Province vertically.The results of age data indicate that the data of the sixth census in Guizhou Province are of high quality,and only the infant age is population omission.consistency is better that have not obvious age preference,have the phenomenon of population omission,concealment,women overestimate more than men.The ethnic minorities also exist age accumulation in Guizhou Province,the impact was significantly higher than the Han.Compared with the quality of sixth census and fifth census age data,revealing the quality of Guizhou Province census age data in the continuous improvement.Horizontal comparison of the sixth national,Guangxi and Shanghai census age data quality,found that the sixth census of Guizhou Province,the age data slightly better than Guangxi and Shanghai,significantly better than the national age data quality.Finally,the paper summarizes the five main causes of data errors:population movement and population migration,the birth population is missing,minority reportingerrors,systematic error of census work declaration,inaccurate population information.It is suggested that the census work in Guizhou should also be improved in the aspects of information collection,educational propaganda and implementation. |
