Under the background of national situation and policy proposing innovation-driven development strategy, there are fire-new challenges to the undergraduates' cultivation of higher education.Cultivation of innovative talents has been established as an important direction of higher education, meanwhile, scientific research's all fields and taches have been propelled to an unprecedented "Big Data" epoch by the change of digital scientific research environment, simultaneously, new demands are presented for scientific researchers. The scientific research level of colleges and universities increasingly depends on the advantage of data and capability converting data to valuable information and knowledge.Scientific data has become the engine of scientific discoveries and knowledge innovation, promoting the formation of Data-intensive science paradigm. The study focus on undergraduates who are the important objects of higher education, further discusses the relationship between their digital literacy and SRIC(scientific research and innovation capability),aiming to provide empirical evidence of cultivation of innovation talents in higher education. This paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter is an exordium,on the basis of review of relevant researches, the conjecture of relationship between undergraduates' digital literacy and SRIC has been come up,in addition, the research approach has been expounded. The second chapter contains concept definition which clarifies the connotation of digital literacy and SRIC,and experiment design where measurement frameworks of undergraduates' digital literacy and SRIC are proposed.Furthermore, the pre-experiment and modification are conducted based on the experiment design. The third chapter demonstrates the result of measurements of digital literacy and SRIC and expounds the distribution of scores in different dimension. In the fourth chapter, relationships between every area of digital literacy and SRIC are analyzed with correlation analysis, regression analysis, factor analysis and other statistical approaches. In the fifth chapter, differences in discipline and gender of experiment objects are considered, besides, special cases are discussed. As a conclusion of the study, the sixth chapter further discusses the application prospects on higher education and digital literacy education modes of university library. Conclusions of the study as follows:(1)Digital literacy has a positive effect on SRIC for undergraduates,in addition, impact factor of communication area to SRIC is the largest for all aspects of digital literacy.(2)Objects of different discipline and gender behave differently in the measurements of digital literacy, whose correlation between digital literacy and SRIC are different.(3)To cultivate innovative talents, teaching mode for undergraduates should be improved and innovated, and the cultivation of core literacy should be emphasized.During the the library implements information literacy education, digital literacy, especially the application of digital techniques, should be reinforced. The cultivation of innovative talents is a important way to propose innovation-driven development strategy, and also a important direction of education reform.Except for getting good grades and accumulating expertise, innovative talents should focus more on improvement of comprehensive ability. The study focus on the relation between digital literacy and SRIC,obtains some study conclusions based on experiment and statistical analysis.Due to the limited ability of author, inadequacy or deficiencies appear inevitably, which may be further discussed in follow-up study.
