The modern society has changed rapidly and the language globalization has become a general trend in most countries.Therefore,people's daily communication is no longer confined to one language.Undoubtedly,as the most widely used language in the world,English has permeated into many non-English speaking countries subtly with the cultural output,and also has aroused people's interest for the research on intercultural communication.Code switching,as an inevitable result of the exchange of language variation,has been attached great importance by the linguists.Previously,code switching has always been popular in a language pluralistic society,but it has not caught much attention.However,when the linguists paid attention to this phenomenon and began to conduct a research on it,this method of code switching has been quite common.All the data in this paper comes from the natural language environment.Besides the teacher's questionnaire,the classroom recording and student interviews have also been sorted out.Through the research and analysis of the data collected,this paper puts forward the following research objectives:First of all,through a series of related classification theory,combined with the classification of code switching and function of generalization,this paper tries to find out the structure and function of the code switching among some of the intrinsic links.Second,this paper intends to explore the influence of the code-switching of teacher's discourse on middle school students' English learning with the text,and to prove the conclusion of the study through classroom recording and student interviews.Finally,this paper strives to sum up the teacher's classroom discourse of the code conversion for the role of middle school English teaching,and put forward some feasible suggestions so as to guide the future English teaching.
