In the background of the new curriculum requirements, concept learning is the foundation of all knowledge.Only understand concepts fully and applying them to practice can we say that we totally grasped the concept. It's not an easy thing for new high school students who has just begun to learn in-depth chemical knowledge.According to constructivism learning theory, before learners learn a new knowledge, the learners' experience would have a certain impact on the learning of the new knowledge.Their life experience and social life will lead to their different understanding of the existing scientific concepts. This kind of understanding is called "misconception".This phenomenon is an obstacle to the new high school students' follow-up study. It also weaken the enthusiasm of students of learning chemistry. Not only should the students study harder to improve themselves, but also teachers should focus on the students' receiving ability.Teacher should ragard students as the center of class,so as they can change the traditional teaching methods which just tell the chemical concepts to students, and students just recite these concepts. Therefore,it is urgent for teachers to study the concept of "misconception" in the process of teaching chemistry to new high school students. It has an important theoretical value and practical significance for students to realize the "misconception".This study takes constructivism learning theory as a guide, the researching object is the first grade high school studens. We use combined method of questionnaire and interviewing. The research is based on all chemical concepts in the PEP high school chemistry book “I”as the researching core and we classified and arranged these conceptions according to the frequency these conceptions appears in the actual situation. The study found that the concept of misconception is a common problem and exist in many of students.Acording to this,we study the region the misconception exists in mind and its causes in the process of learning. And we learn from the actual situation of individual students.as we can stop the trend that misconception leads to,and we put forward the corresponding strategy. The purpose of this study is to reveal the current situation of the new students' misconceptions in the process of learning chemistry. And let the teachers pay attention to it and change the situation. In the gradual development of technology today, students have various accesses to study new knowledge. They learn knowledge from mobile phone, computer,TV,books and so on.That means the possibility they misleaded by the technology is increasing. Therefore, understanding students' thinking ways is particularly important.Through this we can grasp the concept "misconceptions" and find effective strategies for the future change. This can truly reflects the strategy of "think the way the students think" and "people-oriented".Let the students find their own problems, and have the willing to learn. This can also to promote the progress of teaching. And this can provide a large number of teaching examples in teaching which we can reference in the future.
