| Junior middle school English teaching is to teach four basic skills: listening,speaking,reading,and writing.And its main purpose is to cultivate the students to use accurately and correctly on spoken and written English dialogue,and improve the ability to express thoughts in English mind.English writing as the output of the process of learning items is an effective measure to examine students’ English ability.But most of the students in writing will not be able to retrieve and extract efficiently and quickly vocabulary,phrases and corresponding rules of English grammar they need.For the junior middle school students,there is all sorts of barriers between input and output in the English language learning,so it leads to a lower composition score.To change situation in writing,I use the chunk teaching method for English compositions teaching of middle school in No.90 middle school in Harbin,I will let Class Six as the experimental class and Class Five as the comparative classes,thinking about the following questions:(1)In the junior middle school English writing teaching,the lexical teaching can play a positive role?(2)If increasing the junior middle school students’ English chunk input and storage,and improving the students ability of applying English lexical chunks,can junior middle school students’ English writing be improved?(3)With lexical teaching method,are students interested in English writing?With experiment tests,questionnaires and interviews as research tools,combing with experimental methods and action research methods are used on No.90 middle school in Harbin.Chunk is a multiword phenomenon between words and sentences,with syntax,semantics and the characteristics of the context of the trinity,improving students’ language output of fluency,accuracy and integrity.The author in the chunk teaching method is applied to study the English writing class in No.90 middle school.The writer did the experiment for a period of two months.After comprehensive analysis,the authorinput data into SPSS17.0 software,and then analysis the result and conclusion.Finally,the author got the following conclusions:(1)In junior middle school English writing,lexical teaching plays a positive role on the students’ English learning.(2)Increasing input and storage of chunks can improve junior middle school students’ English writing efficiently.(3)students keep a positive attitude about lexical teaching method.Therefore,the lexical approach can help middle school students to do English writing efficiently. |
