Relationships Among Female Postgraduates' Occupation Values,Psychological Capital And Self-efficacy

Career decision-making self-efficacy refers to the degree of self-confidence of individuals to their career choices,which is important to the individual's career choice.Under the social cognitive career theory to study the relaitionships among occupation values,psychological capital and career decision-making self-efficacy of female postgraduate.Using random sampling method,580 female postgraduates from the city of Tianjin.They were asked to complete the questionnaires of occupation values,psychological captical and career decision-making self-efficacy.The study shows that:(1)Occupation value,s score from high to low is hygiene,development and prestige-status of female postgraduate student.The scores of occupation value in female postgraduate student do not have significant differences at major,grade,hometown,or whether or not single child.(2)Female postgraduate student of psychological capital scores from high to low is hope,optimism,self-efficacy and resilience.The scores of psychological capital in female postgraduate student do not have significant differences at major,grade,but there is a significant difference at hometown,or whether or not single child.(3)Female postgraduate students of psychological capital scores from high to low is collectting information,making plan,self evaluation,selecting targets and solving problem.The scores of career decision-making self-efficacy in female postgraduate students do not have significant differences at major,grade,but there is a significant difference at hometown,or whetherhave part-time experience.(4)Hope and optimism had significant positive moderate effects on the relationship between prestige-status and career decision-making self-efficacy;Hygiene had a significant effecton career decision-making self-efficacy through hope and optimism;Hope and resilience had significant positive moderate effects on the relationship between development and career decision-making self-efficacy;This shows that the development of psychological capital is conducive to career.
