Under the background of taking targeted measures in poverty alleviation,"Help the poor must help the intelligence.Let the children in the poor areas received a good education is an important task of poverty alleviation and development.It is also an important way to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty."We can say that education is the most fundamental measures of accurate poverty alleviation,and rural teachers are top priorities of rural education development.Previous studies often discuss about organizational commitment and job satisfaction,but rarely explored rural teachers' meanings in life and the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation preferences.This paper used Structural Equation Model(SEM)to carry out an empirical study of rural teachers' meanings in life,motivation preferences,organizational commitments and job satisfactions,and major conclusions are as follows:1.Generally speaking,the rural teachers' meanings in life,intrinsic motivation preferences,extrinsic motivation preferences and organizational commitments are in the medium level;the rural teachers' job satisfactions are slightly above the medium level.2.Rural teachers' motivation preferences,organizational commitments and job satisfactions have significant differences in the demographic variables.Specifically,different salary levels have significant impacts on motivation preferences.Different genders,ages,marital statuses,working years,education levels and salary levels have significant impacts on organizational commitments.Different positions and ages have significant impacts on job satisfactions.Rural teachers' meanings in life have no significant differences in demographic variables.3.Rural teachers' meanings in life and job satisfactions have significant positive correlations.Rural teachers' motivation preferences and job satisfactions have significant positive correlations.Rural teachers' organizational commitments and job satisfactions have significant positive correlations.4.Organizational commitment was the mediator variable between the presence of meaning in life and job satisfaction.5.Organizational commitment was the mediator variable between work challenge,work enjoyment and job satisfaction.To encourage rural teachers staying down and teaching better,and improve the rural teachers'job satisfactions,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures:From the national perspective,strengthening the life meaning education of rural teachers,accurately improving rural teachers' salaries,and strengthening rural teachers'sense of value,acquisition and achievement.From the school perspective,creating good organization atmospheres,using Specialized person responsible for special things,and specifying teachers' responsibilities.From the personal point of view,teachers should take the initiative to find and experience life meanings,positively pay attention to work enjoyment and work challenge and actively integrate schools,strengthen organizational commitments.
