In retrospect,the school education of Chinese character writing among the primary and middle school students have been strengthened in different degree during every period.There have always been clear requirements for writing teaching in the Chinese curriculum documents,which makes the writing skills keep developing.In order to get more extensive inheritance and promotion of Chinese calligraphy,on February 7,2013,the ministry of education in our country included calligraphy education in the“national medium and long-term education reform and development plan outline(2010-2020)" and issued the “education of primary and secondary school calligraphy guidelines "(hereinafter referred to as the outline).At that time,primary and secondary schools all over the country were required to set up calligraphy actively,which made calligraphy class one of the most popular with the students.What's more,calligraphy education also went from private school education to group class.It becomes an effective way to promote all-round development of primary and middle school students and improve quality education.The introduction of the outline,conforms the development of the ages,has injected time-honoured and fresh blood into the quality education of primary and secondary schools.Before the publication of the opinions on calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools,many regions with long history and cultural accumulation have also tried to reform the calligraphy education of primary and secondary schools in this area.It was regarded as the basic content of quality education to guide students to practice writing basic skills and inherit Chinese culture by all means for improving their culture.Not obvious as it works,it has accumulated a lot of valuable practical experience in guiding students to practice writing basic skills,inherit calligraphy culture and improve students' humanistic quality.And it will play a leading role in implementing the guidelines for the future.For example,in Gushi county of Henan province,the calligraphy education of primary and secondary schools is paid a higher level attention and have formed their own characteristics.What's more,calligraphy training has also paid off well.Although it takes the leading position in Henan province and has trained a large number of outstanding students of calligraphy,it also faces some disadvantages ofcalligraphy into class and there is a certain space for exploration and development.For a more comprehensive understanding of the status quo of calligraphy education from primary and secondary schools in Gushi county,questionnaire survey and interview method should be used during the investigation.The teachers,students and parents shall be surveyed by questionnaires and interviews of ordinary primary and middle schools,art characteristic primary schools and external training institutions in this region.And the problems involve some specific aspects like opening of calligraphy,specific classes,textbooks,teachers and so on.Several effective approaches in the calligraphy education of primary and secondary schools should be summarized on the basis of the analysis on the Gushi county.Affirm the achievements while try to discuss how to promote the sustainable development of the county calligraphy education.The literature method is mainly used to collect and organize the relevant information during the late qing dynasty of traditional and modern calligraphy education in Gushi county.The principle of interview is to deeply understand the attitude of local school leaders,calligraphers and calligraphers to calligraphy education.
