“The foundation education course reform outline(try out)" was published by the ministry of education in 2001,it required research institutions to take elementary education curriculum reform as the center,give full play to the teaching research,guidance and services of teaching and research staffs,and so on.The professional guide of teaching and research staffs played an important role for the promotion of basic education curriculum reform,the education community attaches increasing importance to teaching and research staffs,how to give full play to the teaching and research staffs' professional leading role which caused the attention of education administrative departments,scholars and teachers.In reality,the professional leadership of the teaching and research staffs were not exactly consistent with the expectations of the people,nor is it better suited to the needs of curriculum reform and development.This study aim to analyzing the role and function of research staffs,and how to be a good research staff through searching literature,and adopt the way of questionnaire to investigation and research the status of research staffs in Hunan province,investigating part of teachers in Yuhua district,understand the status of professional leading of this discipline research staffs,find the problems,and analysis of countermeasures.Interview excellent research staffs,understand their advanced experience in professional guidance,and understand the difficulties they have in their work.It is found that the problems of the teaching and research staffs in the process of professional leadership are mainly manifested in three aspects: lack of leading consciousness,lack of the wisdom of leading,and poor guidance.The reasons for these problems include internal and external reasons: the internal reason is that some of the teaching fellows have low professional quality and lack of professional dedication;The external causes are lack of related system of teaching,lack of professional development of some teachers,and lack of emphasis in some schools.To solve theseproblems,we should make efforts in establishing and perfecting the system of teaching and research qualification,perfecting the personnel management of the teaching and research staff,and reducing the burden of the teaching and research staff.
