Abstract/Summary:
In the process of teaching,linguistic and non-linguistic signs of teachers are two important ways to for the delivery of the teaching information.Non-linguistic signs bear such characteristics as clear appearance,multi-channel and the uneasiness to be controlled by human consciousness,for which the emotions expressed with non-linguistic signs are more real and natural,so that the original meanings of the information can be more clear in the dissemination of information.In the classroom,which is a special interpersonal communicative environment,it is worth discussing how the teachers use and optimize non-linguistic signs in the teaching process to achieve better teaching effects.Foreign studies on non-linguistic signs of teachers have become an important branch of the education of communication.Influenced by the foreign scientific theoretical basis and advanced research methods,researches on non-linguistic signs of teachers in China are gradually improved.However,researches on non-linguistic signs of teachers which are specific to middle school chemistry teaching are still blank.This thesis takes the optimization of non-linguistic signs of teachers in middle school chemistry as the research object and the pedagogy as the main line to analyze how non-linguistic signs of teachers are used and optimized in middle school chemistry teaching in the light of relative theories in linguistics,communication,psychology and statistics.Based on the review of related literatures both at home and abroad,the thesis analyzes the related concepts of non-linguistic signs and summarizes the classification,effect,function,using principles and the necessities in middle school chemistry teaching of non-linguistic signs of teachers.Meanwhile,according to the optimization of teaching theory Baban J Ki and the requirements of the new curriculum standards for the middle school chemistry class,the thesis aims to find a way to optimize non-linguistic signs of teachers.First,using the questionnaire,“Non-linguistic Signs of Middle School Chemistry Teachers in Teaching Process”,the thesis examines 215 high school chemistry teachers in Harbin.And with the help of SPSS 22.0 and other data analysis software,the thesis conducts factor analysis and other related quantitative studies and obtains the existing problems of the high school chemistry teachers in the application of non-linguistic signs.Then,adopting the methods of qualitative research and identical group’s experiment,the thesis verifies the active role that the non-linguistic signs of teachers play in the middle school chemistry teaching.Next,based on the functional characteristics of non-linguistic signs,the theoretical basis of teaching optimization,and the data analysis and experimental results of the questionnaire,the thesis gives rise to the optimization tactics of non-linguistic signs of teachers in middle school chemistry teaching from three different perspectives.Finally,in accordance to the results and problems left in the research,a summary and a reflection are also presented in the thesis.
