The Research On Civilianization Of Zhao Chaogou’s Commentary Writing

Zhao Chaogou is an outstanding essay and comment writer on the history of Chinese journalism. This paper tries to systematically discuss the writing process,the representative works,the common commentary writing style,common commentary writing ideas, the common writing characteristic of enlightenment and reference of Zhao’s the comments on writing.According to the order of the development of inner things, Zhao Chaogou’s news career can be divided into three stages. Taking the Xin Min Evening News "Wei Wan Tan" column and Linfang essays excerpts as his comments on the representative works, Zhao’s comment on writing presents a distinct style with common feature. In the form, it performs as review genre of variety meeting the demand of people and short length conforming to the civilian reading habits. In content, Zhao’s comments topic focus on civilian subject concerns, he insists writing comments adhere to a commoner. In the style of writing, he prefers to use the way of discussing which the civilians are easy to accept, writing with feelings make his articles readable. Starting from the concept level, Zhao’s populist comment on writing come from his civilian thought view. This article analyzes that personality characteristics and life experiences, time background and professional environment, spiritual heritage and culture are factors which lead to his civilian thought view. Lastly, looking at today’s newspaper writing, Zhao’s successful experience of common comment on writing has a vital implication on topic selection, writing skills,writing attitude and the spirit of perseverance.Based on the published comments works of Zhao Chaogou as the main research object, the article synthetically uses journalism, communication,sociology and other basic principle and the theoretical results, focusing on the case analysis, in order to throw some enlightenment on academic and industrial research of Zhao Chaogou commentary writing.
