With the development of our country’s economy,as a kind of special equipment, hoisting machinery is playing an important role in many fields, such as metallurgy, construction, logistics transportation and other industrial production. We can say that hoisting machinery is indispensable and it also plays an important role in promoting the progress and development of society. The continuous development of the industry will promote the more widely used of crane.Because the crane is a large special equipment,once the accident happens it will cause incalculable personal injury and economic loss. How to ensure the safety operation of the crane, to reduce the number of accident, and how to realize intelligent management of the crane are becoming big issues for the moment. In addition, with the rapid development of information technology in recent time, how to improve the informationalized and intelligent management level of enterprises, to improve enterprise competitiveness in the society have become important issues faced by the enterprises.This thesis is written based on the management and development of the lifting machinery enterprise. This thesis set the enterprise as the main research object and established a comprehensive information management system for enterprises,to achieve the goal that we can manage the hoisting machinery company intelligently and informationally.Combined the purpose of the establishment of the system and the requirements coming from users, first this thesis finished the demand analysis of the system, including the information requirements, functional requirements and performance requirements. This thesis designed the overall function system. This thesis finished the design of the overall structure of the system according to the three-tier architecture of the Internet of Things(IoT).Then this thesis used the key technologies of the IoT like the Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) and EPC to design how to manage he enterprise personnel, the lifting equipment,safety information coming from crane’s operation,enterprise’s job shop scheduling and enterprise warehouse.This thesis also described the concrete contents of the design and implementation.According to the three-tier architecture,this thesis built the logical structure of the software system.Using SQL Server 2008 as a system database, this thesis built the database of the information management system of crane,including the design of the concept of database and the design of the detailed form.The thesis used ADO as a access to the database.Using Visual Studio 2010 as a development tool and this thesis developed the software of the information management system of crane and designed the main functions. The interaction of the system is simple and easy to operate,and it achived the main functions of the system.The establishment of the system makes the enterprise have a highly centralized management on its staff, equipment, production and warehouse. The system has made a good start and provided some certain reference for the hoisting machinery industry in the future to establish integrated management platform based on the Internet of things.
