| Industrial monitoring plays a key role in the industrial production, which has important significance on industrial equipments maintenance and economic benefits. At present, the traditional industrial monitoring are almost based on the SCADA software. Although the SCADA software system has a certain flexibility in pratical application, it has a number of severe defects, such as the tedious development process, the long development cycle, the mechanical pictures, the poor visual expression and the high dependece on the real environment.In this paper, we propse a scheme to apply argumented reality into industrial monitoring on the basis of the video surveillance technology, which has been widely used in the industrial monitoring, and argumented reality, which can make people have a strong sense of immersion. Our aim is to realize the unification of the industrial video surveillace and data monitoring. The main work of this paper is to sovle several key problems for application of argumented reality in industrial monitoring environment, including:(1) Analyze the defectes of registered tracking technoloy based on machine vision and GPS in the industrial environment. On this basis, present a suitable world coordinate system establishing method and deduce the formulas that traslate this world coordinate system to camera coordinate system.(2) Present a method to translate device’s 2D screen coordinate to its 3D world coordinate, aiming at reducing the measurement worklod and time. This method only needs to measure the device’s z axis coordinate in the world coordinate system beforehand, then it can compute the complete position information of the device in the world coordinate system through clicking on the device at the corresponding area of screen.(3) Present a method to search point of interest. The method can search and filter the point of interest according to the orientation and visual angle of the camera, rudcing the unnecessary rendering time.(4) Study the radial distortion caused by the wide-angle lens of the industrial monitoring camera, and present the related correction formula.(5) Show the related experimental results, including the radial distortion correction, the precison of 3D reconstruction, the precision of coordinate transformation and the overrall operation effect. |
