The rapid spread of the Internet has injected new vitality to the information construction of Soil and Water Conservation. By means of constructing the Soil and Water Conservation-oriented website, operations about data collection, data query and information distribution related to Soil and Water Conservation now can be implemented through the Internet. This change not only improves the timeliness of data delivery, but also expands the information distribution scope of Soil and Water Conservation.Rendering of the browser is an important criterion for the quality of the website, but currently there exists not a small difference on renderings of the browsers with different cores. With the era of Web2.0, users have largely been involved in the manufacture of the site content. Performance and user experience of the web system also become important indexes to justify the construction of a website owing to frequent interaction. Users often find it difficult to tolerate the websites with slow response and finally refuse to use.Soil and Water Conservation-oriented specialized management websites refer to different operations and departments with large volume business、huge institutions and frequent interactions. Different renderings of the browser and slow response problem caused by the inner technical implementation make the user experience far away from expectation which thereby constraining the widespread use of the website, restricting the system playing its due role.To enhance the user experience, it is necessary to optimize the origin websites. So, this paper mainly does the following research: analyzing the characteristics and requirements of the Soil and Water Conservation-oriented websites; mastering the Web Standards and the rendering mechanism of mainstream web browsers, reconstructing the pages fail to conform to the Web Standards according to the idea of separating the Front-end and Back-end to make the websites more reasonable and extendible; analyzing the principles of Web Front-end optimization combined with the characteristics of the Soil and Water Conservation-oriented websites, reasonably designing the Front-end factors that infect the websites, optimizing the Front-end performance of the sites; utilizing the Front-end technology like AJAX to complete the data processing task from the origin Back-end to the Front-end, optimizing the burden of the network, balancing the workloads; making some research on the development with WebGIS, dealing with slow response problem in geography topics, implementing the performance optimization of the Soil and Water Conservation-oriented websites. In a word, the reconstructed Soil and Water Conservation-oriented website according to the idea of separating the Front-end and Back-end achieve the compatible display in mainstream Web browsers, enhance the expansibility and transportability of the website, facilitate the function development of pages in prefecture-level city. After optimizing, the websites become more convenient and fluent in visiting, more humanized in operations like data entry and ultimately enhance the user experience.
