Based On Wireless Intrusion Prevention System’s Man In The Middle Attack Detection’s Design And Realization

With computer networks continuing to improve and develop, it brings people convenience and also puts forward higher requirements to network security technology as the same time. People’s daily lives are more and more dependent on network, more and more business is done on the web, for example, bank business, company’s inner info. All kinds of sensitive data is placed in the network, faced with a variety of network security crisis, it is necessary to enhance network security protection measures and minimize the threat.802.11 wireless network, its environment is more complicated, it is attacked more easily comparing with 802.3 network, for example, malicious intruders, illegal client and surrounding wireless infrastructure’s threats and impacts. In order to meet needs of 802.11 network security. WIPS can detect and protect wireless behaviors and devices that threaten network security, interfere network services and affect network performance. This article also proposes the solution of detecting Man-In-The-Middle based on its characteristics in 802.11 network and brings good detection results. The system uses a cross-device messaging and sub-modules independent drive mechanism, every module accomplishes a specific function.Man-In-The-Middle attack is a relatively mature attack, it appears in all kinds of computer security and cryptography. It also appears in 802.11 fields. Based on WIPS,the article proposes an effective solution to Man-In-The-Middle under the 802.11 network, this schema use the distribution of sub-attack detection, progressive data analysis, analyzing the link between every sub-attack finally deriving the results. After system testing and module testing, it proves that the detection method capable of intermediaries described successful attack detection.The system uses sub-module development methods to reduce coupling between modules, in this way, it is easier to expand the function points in the future and constantly update according to the needs of users, then make the attack detection perfectly. The 802.11 network security will be guaranteed towards WIPS.
