With the rapid development of Internet technology, distributed computing model based on Web Services is becoming the trend of software technology and application development, Web Services mainly use HTTP and SOAP protocol enables data transmission services on the Web.Article first introduces the optimized Web Service data transmission main research results. On the basis of the transmission function of the Web Service, considering the size of the data, data structures, and storage factors, selective compression and transmission scheme proposed Web Service.Secondly, analysis main reasons of determing the response speed of the Webservices.In response to the process of Web Service, XML parsing, serialization, deserialization the most time consuming, and therefore need to break through the current transmission technology difficulties. In order to improve Web Service’s data transfer rates, especially large amount of data transmission, we use Web Service and Web Socket to solve the problem of large data transfers.Traditional Web Service transmission depends on the Hypertext Transfer Protocol to transfer informationlow efficiency, we only use Hypertext Transfer Protocol transfer a small amount of the relating data, and then use Web Socket convey a lot of information. This can greatly reduce the processing time and the XML file system resource depletion, breaking the limitations of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol information transmission. Therefore, Web Service and Web Socket and Web Service can improve the efficiency of transmission, expanding the scope of use of the Web Service.Finally, build the experimental platform for the proposed two options: based selecting compression algorithm Web service transport programs and Web Service combined with Web Socket transmission scheme respectively. Analyzed the experimental results of theproposed two schemes to confirm Web service can effectively improve the transmission efficiency.
