Performance Management System Of Large Equipment Assemble Engineering Project For Yuanyang Company

During the development procedure, Yuanyang Company's business has been facing the challenges on how to reasonably measure and evaluate its performance where its traditional measures are becoming more and more coarse-grained and inpresicel. With the business characteristics in Yuangyang company's strategy development and requirements in its large equipment purchasing and installation engineering project management, this thesis presents the analysis and discussion on the performance evaluation software system design and implementation based on the notions and methods in the advanced balanced scorecard theoretic framework.It is presented how to solve the company's performance management problem in this thesis from the viewpoint of system analysis, design and implementation on basis of the advance balance scorecard theory. The following works are accomplished around the above development objectives. Firstly Yuanyang company's large scale engineering equipment purchasing and installation performance evaluation scheme and indicator hierarchy is constructed from the business demand perspective. Secondly the most important functions necessary for this system to implement is discussed which include performance plan management, performance indicator computation and the equipment provider performance evaluation with the use case descriptions and models. On the basis of the requirement analysis, the equipment purchasing and installation engineering performance management software system's design is discussed with focuses on its architecture design, database design, basic performance information management module design, performance evaluation weighted factors processing methods, real values computation methods and the internal mechanisms inside the performance analysis module. The interfaces between this and some other external business systems are also briefly presented as a part of its design scheme.Yuanyang company equipment installation engineering performance management software is composed of hierarchical components distributed at client interface management layer, server-side performance information management layer, system database layer and business system interface layer. The software's performance information management layer is realized by a group of programs on server side and is consisted by three groups of sub-modules which are performance basic information management module, performance actual data computation module and performance analysis assessment module. The software is developed with C# and SQL Server database routines. It is under test running stage with improvements in its reliability and maintenance easiness and reaching relatively stable status.
