Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is a kind of distributed sensor networks. Nodes in WSN complete data collection and transmission automatically, which greatly improved the production and life way of human. WSN is composed of a lot of sensor nodes and an base stations (Sink), transmitting the collected data to Sink by wireless communication. The problems WSN faced are as follows:the node energy couldn't be recharged once deployed; the node energy consumption is imbalance. Therefore how to control the nodes energy consumption balanced through effective routing policy has become an important problem in sensor network researches.Directed Diffusion Protocol(DD) is a classic plane routing protocol which is data-centered and driven by the query. Research on Routing Protocol based on Key-item Query and Cluster-head Path Transform in Wireless Sensor Network(KQCPT) was proposed to resolve the problem of huge energy consumption in interests flood stage and the maintenance of reinforcement path in directed diffusion. The main points of this paper are as follows:First of all, simply described the main characteristics, related technologies and the structure of system in WSN; The functions' characteristics and the key technologies of the routing protocols in WSN were introduced; elaborated on the classification of classical routing protocols.Secondly, Directed Diffusion Routing Protocol based on the Cluster head and Interest Key-item Query(DDCIKQ) was proposed. Formed the uneven clustering through selecting the candidate cluster heads and cluster heads. Flooding the interests message to cluster-heads in interests flooding stage,the cluster heads extracted the key items of interests to query and compare. Then spread the messages if the interests is matched. In data transmission phase, the next hop cluster-head with the highest priority was selected in cluster head to build optimal path and transfer data.Again, Routing Protocol of Optimal Transmission-path Transform through Back Iterative based on Grading mechanism of Time (OTTBIGT) was proposed. When transmitting data on the optimal path, a cluster-head's remaining energy was close to the threshold, the network converted the optimal path to continue transferring the data through selecting the succeed node with cluster-head's back iterative and query based on time.Finally, simulations were conducted on OPNET platform. The analysis of the network lifetime results and the remaining energy indicated:the protocol which proposed can lengthen the network lifetime effectively, improve the energy utilization efficiency, balance the energy consumption.
