With the development of high speed digital signal processing technology, non-cooperative communication gets application more and more widely and the modulation signal recognition is one of the important research contents. Identifying a communication signal is modulated received signal and estimates the parameters of the signal, such as the code rate, the carrier frequency and then distinguishes the modulation model.It mainly research modulation recognition technology based on higher-order cumulants, complete simulated signal 2ASK/BPSK,4ASK, 2FSK,4FSK, QPSK,16QAM automatic recognition, using the new characteristic parameters in the recognition process to optimize the performance of recognition. Then it designs a modulation recognition verification platform based on the algorithm.Firstly, the paper analyzes the signal modulation recognition algorithm based on higher order cumulants to find the difference between signals and structure characteristic parameters, completes classification of modulation signal 2ASK/BPSK,4ASK,2FSK,4FSK, QPSK,16QAM by binary tree classifier, proves the scheme feasible by matlab simulation. Secondly, it carefully studies PCIE protocol, designs the DMA engine of the PCIE bus on the FPGA. Third, using WinDriver completes the development of the driver on the PC. Finally, it integrates the module of driver and the algorithms of the modulation pattern recognition to achieve function of verification platform.
