With the development of society and economy and the improvement of people’s life, the safety of consciousness also be gradually improved, thus this also further increased the demand for video monitoring system. With the development of video codec technology and video transmission technology and popular embedded technology in recent years, video monitoring system is more and more tend to be intelligent, networking, digital and wireless. With the development of wireless technology, and the growing popularity of the 3G technology application, wireless video transmission technology has also got rapid development. The 4G wireless communication technology further improved the bandwidth of the wireless video transmission, which can realize real-time high-definition video transmission over a long distance. Wireless video transmission can be achieved for the monitoring of some dangerous place and save the cost of cable equipment, so wireless video transmission is the development trend of video transmission in the future.Therefore, the research and development a kind of embedded high-definition video monitoring system based on wireless technology has very important practical significance, especially 4G wireless communication technology.Through to analysis of the relevant technical difficulties of high-definition remote video monitoring system,this article puts forward the high-definition video remote monitoring system based on embedded technology front-end implementation for the purpose of traffic monitoring, and designs an EBR dynamic subdivision method based video signal fault tolerant mechanism, improve the anti-interference ability of the system, and the development cycle is short, easy to implement, low cost and low consumption.Combined with the embedded technology, this design realizes the embedded high-definition video remote monitoring system front end from the three aspects based on DM3730, including the overall design of the monitoring system, monitoring system hardware design of front-end, and monitoring system software design of the front-end. First expounded the remote high-definition video front-end hardware design implementation using DM3730 as the core, including processor module circuit design, power supply module circuit design, the peripheral extension module circuit design and video transmission, video acquisition module circuit design. This article realized the high definition video remote monitoring software part of the front end based on the embedded Linux, and realized CMOS camera drivers, designed to achieve 4G wireless module drivers; designed to realize the high-definition video sampling module based on V4L2, high-definition video decoding module and high-definition video wireless transmission module; Design to realize the fault-tolerant mechanism of video signal in order to deal with bad industrial environment, improve the anti-interference ability of the system. and programed a simple client testing interface based on QT software, in order to test and verify the correctness of the front-end video image.The design of the embedded high-definition video monitoring system based on DM3730 front end has been tested stably for high-definition video acquisition and transmission, and can watch the front-end smooth traffic video information transmission through wireless 4G networks. The system works stable and reliable, low cost, easy to implement, short development cycle, achieved the purpose of this development, comply with the design requirements, laid a good foundation for further study for high-definition video monitoring system in the future.
