| In recent decades, Infrared technology is more and more widely used in military field. Infrared dim small target detection in complex scenes is one of the key technologies in infrared search system. Long range infrared small target detection has been paid more attention by the military department, and it has become a hot spot in the research of infrared technology. Due to the low contrast of the target, small size, no texture and shape characteristics, making the target in the detection process has a certain degree of difficulty. If the target is in the complex background, because of the complex background noise, the background intensity fluctuation is large, it will increase the difficulty of detection of small target, which makes the false alarm rate become higher. With the rapid development of infrared image processing technology, the weak target detection research has been widely attention, so the infrared images had been largely demanded. But infrared image obtained often have some problem such as the acquisition cycle length, shoot the difficulties of high cost.In order to solve the problem which is difficult to obtain infrar ed dim small target image, forward modeling and simulation research of this thesis is a study on the complex background infrared dim and small target, intends to synthetic dim targets in real infrared background, provides a large number of test data for infrared dim small target detection. The main research contents of this thesis as follows:1) The principle of infrared image is studied, and the characteristics of infrared image and visible light image are analyzed. The characteristics of infrared image ar e analyzed by using quantitative indexes, the local characteristics of infrared image with the target and the characteristics of infrared small target are studied.2) The ideal small target model is established, and the forward modeling technique is used to add noise, reduce the contrast and so on, making the target close to the reality. We will use the real complex infrared background, which makes the simulation result as real as possible.3) Based on the MATLAB platform, generate a large number of different characteristics of the small target, and build a small target of the sample database through the forward modeling technology. In order to detect the real degree of the weak and small targets, the image similarity is studied. Through the simulation experiments are carried out with the target and the real target contrast. The study provides a large number of samples for infrared dim target in infrared detection and tracking tasks, provide a good foundation for the detection and tracking of infrared guidance and dim target.4) Based on MATLAB/C# platform, the application of weak target forward modeling technology in infrared small target detection is studied, and the effect and efficiency of infrared small target detection algorithm are studied by using the sample data generated by forward modeling as the data source. |
