The children of Chinese characters teaching is a permanent subject and poser in the education field.The good teaching methods and means have always been the key point for educators.Media is the carrier of information recording and transmission.Digital media is a new media form after the medias of physical signals and analog signals,which is based on the digital signals.Face to the old problem and new means,the writer has teased and explored the interaction relations and practical applications between them.Since the target is to teach children the Chinese characters,first of all,should fully understand and research the children and characters,According to the contents which to be transmitted and characteristics of the objects to summarize the conditions which to be satisfied for selected medias.So as to be more accurate and efficient to apply the media means to achieve the desired targets.Through referring the materials of the children cognition rules,psychological characteristics etc.,as well as the writer’s own contact researches,have obtained that the information which to be given to children should meet some specific requirements,such as:Perceptual and intuitive,vivid and easy to identify,rich colors,simultaneously use multi-sensory,can take part in the experiences etc..through deeply studying the characters can tell us,this is an ideograph which be created by Chinese ancients according to the purposes and demands of that time.visualization and contextualization are its characteristics.Therefore,for studying the symbols should back to the real image scenes to help to understand its essential meanings.Finally,the media forms has been developed to current digital media,the essence and characteristics of this media form can more easily attain the effects,such as:visual image,creating change,mobilize multi-sensory,interactive immerse experiences etc.,we found it that precisely cater and satisfy the former requirement which has proposed during the children character teaching research.Therefore,this article by multi-perspectives:summary on theory,factual investigation,specific design,appraisal etc.,taking the children characters teaching as specific anchorage,has researched and thought for the characteristics and relevant applications of digital media.To prove from the academic theory and practical application,using the digital media mean to help Children to study Chinese characters easily and happily.It is a very important and indeed feasible pipeline,by analyzing the current market research and the writer’s design concept,can expect the application of digital media to become the next prior development direction in the children character field and will bring several new breakthroughs and new possibilities.Not only that,From the point of view,this article puts forward some new thoughts on combing the digital media itself,the characteristics of the media,the application of the principle,the overall evaluation,social significance and so on.
