| With the development of electronic communication technology, there is an increase demand for the properties of all kinds of communication antennas and radar antennas. High-precision antenna measurement system has been an essential equipment in antenna development and production. Hence, its performance directly affect the development of high-performance antenna. Owing to the low degree of automation in prime antenna measurement system, which leads to many personal operations and it results in reducing the measurement efficiency of antenna measurement system. With the development of computer technology and mechanical technology, the design of high efficiency and precision antenna measurement system has technical support. At home and abroad, high efficiency and precision antenna measurement system has made great progress in the aspect of theoretical research and it has been established and used in many research institutions. This thesis designs a high efficiency and precision antenna far field measurement system, which combines with the production demand of China research institute. The system is established in rectangular microwave anechoic chamber, which is used to measure the electrical property parameters of the surface or front and rear facets of the antenna in missile. The range of work frequency which this system uses is 1-24 GHz.The principle of antenna far field measurement system is based on industrial control computer. Firstly, the system uses vector network analyzer to intialize the relevant parameters, which is controled by the computer. Secondly, it controls the vector network analyzer to send and receive signals. At the same time, the multidimensinal revolving stage is revolved and the system can get the measured data. Finally, the system uses the data processing software to analyze the measured data, which will generate the antenna measurement report automatically.In the first place, this thesis introduces the research project background, the present situation at home and aboard, the significance of the research and the knowledge of the antenna measurement principles. In the second place, this thesis studies the structure and priciple of the antenna measurement system. It also analyses the main error factors of the antenna measuring process. Eventually, this thesis studies the main error factors which are produced by measuring the gain of the pyramidal horn antenna, and it analyzes the error with the measuring data. Based on this, compensating errors of the gain which is measured by the three-antenna method is finished. The software is written by MATLAB software, which is used to compare and analyze the value of compensated gain, the value of analytic calculation gain and the value of simulated gain. The results prove the method which this thesis dicussed is right and it has pratical value in the project. |
