The Application Of Value Management In The Library Performance Evaluation

With the development of higher education in our country, the position of Library in university is more and more important, the library is gradually developed from the traditional mode to the network, digital and automation due to the development of computer technology, the traditional library performance evaluation model is no longer meet the needs of development, it is very important to establish a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system of University Library Resources Utilization, which is a topic needs to be solved urgently in the current university library resources utilization performance appraisal. It is a new way to use the theory and method of value management to study and discuss the performance evaluation of university library resources utilization, and to provide a new way of thinking for the traditional library performance evaluation.On the one hand it will help to improve the efficiency of resource utilization, on the other hand it is the innovation management mode, an important measure to strengthen the connotation construction to enhance the overall strength of colleges and Universities.In this paper, we start from the basic theory of value management, performance evaluation, combine with the characteristics of University Library Resources, use through literature analysis, comparative analysis, model research, statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, empirical research and other methods to discuess and study the performance evaluation of University Library Resources Utilization in the perspective of value management. This paper is discussing the current situation and the general problems of the performance evaluation of university library resource utilization, and then to define the function and cost of resource utilization performance of university library. After that we construct the value management model of university library resources utilization performance evaluation, and select a university library in Nanjing as the research object, in accordance with the establishment of a good value evaluation model for example analysis. According to the results of the evaluation model, the proposed scheme is proposed to improve the performance value of the school library. These research and exploration, from theory to practice, is an objective and scientific evaluation model to provide a useful reference for the university library resource utilization performance evaluation. Based on the effective evaluation of library resources utilization efficiency to max the function of the evaluation object, and at the same time, make the costunder a reasonable control. And the we can achieve the maximum value of the value of the management object as long as improve the efficiency of library resource utilization. It provides a useful way of thinking for the management of the library and the scientific development of the University.
