The Design And Implementation Of University Course Management System Based On Bootstrap And Map API

Course-arranging system is an essential tool in university teaching practice. At the beginning of a semester, academic staff must arrange curriculums systematically, based on the course setting of kind of majors, occupation of classroom and school’s vacation plans. However, with the rapid development of Internet these years, course-arranging system in use rely on browsers with i.e. kernel mostly, which result in bad compatibility of mobile equipment and failure of cross-platform visit. It has poor user experience and bad convenience. So we need a new system which not only meets the requirement of traditional function, but also improves the user experience, system compatibility and novelty of message display.In this page, starting from the point of course-arranging system development, it adopts mature architecture with framework SpringMVC and hibernate. On design, it is hierarchical and clear that we use bootstrap style as front-end display tool and map api to show course information. Functions included in this system are as below. Firstly, by the management of school calendar and other teaching resources, provide the basement of data and precondition for the course arranging. Secondly, through the one key arranging interface, do the behavior of auto course arranging. Thirdly, using map api, display curriculum on the map’s building marks and query information or measure distance. And at last, the system management function provide user login interface and common property control.Via the analysis and design of all functions in this system, it implements the standard of software development and the function of data management of teaching resources and the function of course arranging. And meanwhile, due to the excellent compatibility and user experience, it will take advantage and raise working efficiency in the future.
