A Comparative Research On University Library Users’ Right Policies

The university libraries are important information sources of teachers and students to acquire knowledge and culture and bear important responsibilities of leading universities culture forward. It’s a great significance to carry out university library users’ right policies research for the university library users’ right policies to play a better role in university libraries knowledge inheritance and cultural diffusion, in improving the service quality of university libraries and promoting libraries development.This article selects 985 project universities in 39 as the sample to research university library users’ right policies.985 project universities, as the representative of the Chinese universities that play leading roles in the development of university libraries, the library users’ right policies largely reflects the present situation of Chinese university library users’ right policies.So it’s a great reference significance that research on the library users’ right policies of 985 project universities to develop and perfect our country university library users’ right policies.At first this article explores the selected topic background, the selected topic significance,the research methods and innovations of this article expounded, at the same time analyzes and compares the research status at home and abroad, and then introduces the development of library users’ right protection and the related concepts of users’ right policies, at the second compares the library users’ right policies of 985 project universities on the time use right policies,space and equipment use right policies,borrowing right policies,security right policies,participation right policies, right to be infomed policies,education and training right policies,privacy right policies, right of appeal policies.On the basis of that analyzes the highlight and the problem of the library users’ right policies of 985 project universities.Finally puts forward several Suggestions to improve the university library users’ right policies, in order to help university libraries to formulate and improve the users’ right policies.
