An Embedded Serial Server Data Acquisition System

In recent years, with the rapid development of embedded technology constantly,embedded products permeate every aspect of our lives, in the field of data acquisition,embedded technology has been widely used. It requires not only high precision data acquisition and transmission speed, but also requires devices with networked, intelligent features. Due to the constraints from environmental conditions, it is difficult for equipment to meet the application requirements in paper industrial areas.It has become an inevitable trend of the embedded microprocessor application in the field of paper industrial control,which Design and develop high performance, low-cost automation control systems.In this paper, a serial port server data acquisition system for paper industry is constructed,which is demand for the application of automation equipment in paper industry, the eight serial data collected by Serial server is send to a remote host by the network,which is enable existing devices with networking capabilitiesPaper choose ARM microprocessor AT91SAM9G45 series products that is suitable for industrial development for hardware design,and it has been achieved the basic circuit design,memory modules, communication modules, and A/D sampling circuit. In software design,first of all, it has been build the Linux development platform and completed detailedly in BootLoader transplantation 、 transplant kernel and root file system. Secondly, we have achieved device driver development of XR16L788 serial port expansion chip and DM9000 A device driver development.Finally,based on the TCP/IP protocol we make a detailed design on the serial data transceiver program 、 network interface data transmission program and Qt display interface.The system has been tested after the completion of the overall design of embedded data acquisition system. The results show that the system has normal communication and good practicality due to its high speed data acquisition and real-time display.
