In the modern era, the updated gears of communications industry are rotating rapidly.They also bring out a great challenge to us. With the advent of mobile Internet tide and the rapid development of smart terminals, multimedia services demand for high-speed data urgently and bring out serious challenges to network infrastructure architecture. There are three common problems in traditional cellular networks.They are the limitation of capacity, coverage and interference. Thus, the introduction of relay can bring out corresponding improvement. Especially, relay can bring out the enhancement of throughput, the extension of coverage, the flexibility of network deployment. How to provide users with more reasonable high-speed services to enhance the quality of service under the limited system resources can highlight the importance of resource allocation.Resource allocation for wireless relay communication is investigated in the thesis. Firstly, the value of relay, the problem to be solved under introduction of relay and the importance of resource allocation are investigated. Twelve elements are analyzed and summarized about the scenario of relay. Permutation and combination can be conducted. Thus, the combined applications of several scenarios are derived for the construction of relay scenario. The techniques of relay and resource allocation are reorganized in order to present the development of the research.Secondly, the schemes of relay transmission and relay selection are classified. The typical schemes of relay selection are simulated. The schemes of power allocation are investigated based on the minimization of SEP in the scenario of multi-relay which conduct the DF protocol. The schemes of power allocation are analyzed and simulated on the impact of SEP in the scenarios of different numbers of relay nodes. The schemes of power allocation are investigated and simulated on the impact of SEP in the scenarios of the same numbers of relay nodes and different maximum power that each relay node used.Thirdly, two aspects of the problems which contain resource allocation and relay selection scheme based on AF relay system are investigated. In terms of resource allocation, power allocation and subcarrier pairing in the two-way relay system are investigated. In terms of subcarrier pairing, three schemes of subcarrier pairing are simulated on the impact of the sum rate of the system, such as hungarian pairing algorithm, separated pairing algorithm and random pairing algorithm.Separated pairing algorithm makes the tradeoff between performance and complexity.The dynamic power allocation and equal power allocation are investigated on the impact of system performance in the scenarios of different pairing schemes of subcarrier. In terms of relay selection, the scheme of application scenarios and relay selection are classified. The typical schemes of two-way relay selection and full-duplex relay selection are simulated and investigated.Finally, from the perspective of the actual realization of the algorithm, we have developed a software simulation platform of resource allocation for relay communication. Due to the consideration of maintainability and expandability of the following platform and inheritance of research group's work and combination with hardware platform of research group, object-oriented architecture has been conducted.
