With the rapid development of mobile backhaul networks and the increasing diversity of network application services, IP RAN (Internet Protocol Radio Access Network) is a more perfect service bearing technology, and it is used widely, mainstream carriers in the world have adopted IP RAN to carry their integrated business. IP RAN based on IP/MPLS technology standard system can be widely applied to the Carrier’s Metropolitan, Area Network backbone network and bearer network. IP RAN not only has the advantages of high load efficiency, supporting point to multipoint communication, good scalability, but also meets the bearer network with requirements of business, such as providing high bandwidth, three layer network functions, IP-based and bandwidth. It can be a good 3G (3rd Generation, the third generation digital communications) backhaul imd ITE(Long Term Evolntion.3GPP long Term Involution) bast-Stations. But with the rapid development of 3G/LTE, especially in recent 4G (4rd Generation, a fourth-generation digital communications) rising high, the probrems such as high-availability and complex maintenance have gradually emerged. At the same time, because the design of traditional network equipment is vertical and closed, it is slow to respond to new business, customer demand for feedback is relatively lagging behind. In this paper, to solve the two main problems that are difficult maintenance and slow deployment of new services which the current network IP RAN encountered by studying and using the SDN technical characteristics and NETCONF technology, thus it achieves the purpose of automatic deployment of IP RAN network.For IP RAN network operation and maintenance, this article-introduces the NETCONF protocol as the standard SDN south to the interface, It can more flexibly schedule network device interface. Meanwhile, in order to more accurately locate the device and quickly locate faults in IP RAN network, this article introduces SDN controller technology to get the global IP RAN network topology, centralized device management and troubleshooting, it can greatly reduce labor participation, which reduces IP RAN network operation and maintenance difficult and further enhances the ability to automatically deploy IP RAN networkFor IP RAN network the deployment of new services, in this paper by using the SDN controller to flexibly customize business services, and business APP technology can be deployed independently each other, weakening the coupling between services. Meanwhile, the paper introduces NETCONF technology to operate the device open interface, break the enclosed design of the original equipment, without having to negotiate negotiate about opening new interfaces and replacing operating environment of the equipment, which greatly shortens the deployment cycle of new business and also can speed up the deployment of IP RAN network automatically.This paper, according to the above scheme, will design and implement based SDN automatic deployment of IP RAN, in order to verify the feasibility of this system, this paper uses multiple virtual devices to simulate L2VPN access to L3VPN networking test in which SOUPUI instead of SDN controller centralize and deploy the business, using TestCenter tester to play stream to test the stability of the network, using NETCONF as a scheduling interface protocol between SDN controller and network device. Following the above test, L2VPN and L3VPN under the SDN controller are able to communicate with each other, in order to verify the correctness of the IP RAN SDN network, as well as about 50ms recovery time verifies the stability and robustness of the IP RAN SDN network, test results achieved the expected results, the system has been successfully applied in a project has further verified the feasibility of SDN technology to automate the deployment of IP RAN network.
