With the rapid development of modern industry, electromotor pumps and other industrial equipment have been widely used. However,due to unreasonable selection or outdate equipment, the liquid delivery system of the pump driven by electromotor has a low efficiency and serious waste of resources as well. Therefore, the state issued “The standard of pumps and liquid delivery system energy monitoring methods ” aim to improve the condition. In response to the national energy conservation and emission reductions, this paper makes a research on the method of measuring the efficiency of the liquid delivery system of the pump driven by electromotor.The efficiency measurement of the liquid delivery system of the pump driven by electromotor contains four parts: electromotor efficiency, transmission efficiency, pump efficiency and pipeline efficiency. We combine the statistical and loss analysis to analyze the electromotor efficiency and set mathematical models. The measurement of transmission efficiency and pipeline efficiency accords to the standard of energy monitoring and the actual connection and installation of equipment. The measurement of pump efficiency uses hydraulics method to get a measurement model based on calculation parameters of the pipeline flow and pump head and principle.Based on the above measurement theory, the paper designs measurement equipment of a liquid delivery system based on microcontroller unit. To ensure the measurement accuracy,the computer technology, sensor and digital signal processing are used. A human-computer interaction and database storage feature provides a great convenience for system efficiency measurement. We do experiments of the standard power source and pump field, and the results show that the measurement equipment has high accuracy and reliable operation. The subject has a practical significance about the measurement of efficiency for electromotor drive pumps liquid delivery system.
