Design And Implementation Of Datawarehouse Platform In The Medical Industry

Nowadays, the new medical reformation is on fire, meanwhile, after 10 years development on information technology, most medical institutions still in the stage of transaction processing system, value that hide behind huge data cannot be found, so, using modular structure of medical business, applying cutting-edge business intelligence technology, building unified platform for data analysis, optimizing the design based on large volumes of data is imperative, this can not only provide a unified data center, established management platform to improve the efficiency and transparency of decision making based on science, but also, in the future, combining with the Big Data and Cloud computing technology, data centers will play an important role not only in medical institutions, but also the regional medical care field, the epidemic warning, clinical pathways and so on. Currently on the market there are plenty of solutions for a single specific medical institution, which is not suitable for popularizing new technology. The purpose of this study was based on the exercise of the author, summarize a template of medical industry business intelligence platform that can adapt almost every medical institution, jump out of specific project, and design from a higher level perspective and resolve the problem of common architecture of medical industry.
