| With the development of computer technology, digital imaging technology,network technology and communication technology, as well as the continuous advancement of hospital information, PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) based on DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) 3.0standard is gradually used in hospitals. Especially, after SR(Structured Reporting)added into DICOM 3.0 standard in 2000, EMR(Electronic Medical Record) based on DICOM SR has been widely applied. The majority of health care workers make use of the EMR structural medical data to carry out clinical diagnosis, remote diagnosis and data sharing. Meanwhile, the domestic and foreign scholars have conducted considerable research on DICOM SR and XML(eXtensible Markup Language)technologies which be applied to DICOM SR. However, equipment manufacturers generally verify data elements by manual checking, therefore, efficiency and quality are of no assurance. Considering that, a DICOM SR data verification tool of color Doppler ultrasound system is designed and complished to satisfy the pratical requirements.The DICOM SR information model based on DICOM SR standard is studied.Comparison and parse of database values and SR document data elements are implemented by using object-oriented technologies, SQL and XML technologies. On the basis of analyzing the function and performance requirements of DICOM SR data verification tool of color Doppler ultrasound system, the system framework is designed.The system can be divided into serveral functional modules, that is, input and output,PID database parsing, getting code entry, database value mapping code entry, SR document parsing, database values comparing with data elements of SR document, etc.Then, functional modules are designed and descripted in detail. Finally, functional testings are completed.The development of DICOM SR data verification tool of color Doppler ultrasound system is completed in accordance with DICOM SR standard, database and XML technologies.The designed data verification tool whose interface is simple is easy to learn and use, and can support the verification of measure items and analysis items of SR types(such as maternity, heart, blood vessels, urinary, abdomen and breast) in different types of color Doppler ultrasound equipments. The originally designed tool can improve testers’ work efficiency, shorten product development cycle, ensure qualityand performance of medical equipments, and promote the accuracy of medical diagnosis and treatment. |
