Because of the increasing number of users and the changes of service types, the traditional single network has been unable to meet the growing traffic demands of users. Therefore, to adapt to the changes of current users’ demands, the existing network architecture needs to create a converged and heterogeneous network of multi- tier networks to enhance its service capacity and spectrum efficiency. To analyze the uplink performance of wireless HetNet(Heterogeneous Network), the distribution and the skewness of the interference source for two-dimensional Wyner model and PVT(Poisson-Voronoi Tessellation) model are derived firstly by using the stochastic geometry. Considering the near- far effect in the wireless network, the probability density functions of the interference factor and the mathematical expressions of the uplink outage probability for Wyner model and PVT model are derived under the complete channel inversion power control. For the general D-PFPC(Distance-Proportional Fractional Power Control) algorithm, the influence of different power compensation factors on the average uplink transmission rate are also analyzed. According to Jensen inequality, the mathematical relationship between the power compensation factor and the average transmission rate is derived and the conclusion is that the average uplink transmission rate decreases as the power compensation factor increases. Finally, the average transmission power of user terminals and the uplink energy efficiency for the homogeneous network and HetNet are derived. This paper finds that the deployment of HetNet can improve the uplink energy efficiency of users effectively and the uplink energy efficiency of users increases with an increase in the density of small cell base stations. The analysis results of Wyner model and PVT model of this paper have some guiding significance for the network modeling and interference management of wireless HetNet.
