Smart grid for future intelligent science and technology an important part of life, it involves in various areas of technology development is quite wide and varied, communication technology wasconnecting all information and gathering data,has been widely concerned. In the smart grid backbone communication link, our country has reached the international advanced level, however, the intellectualize of distribution and utilization of electrical energy degree be curbed, because of its complicated physical environment and diverse communication mode and multifarious business types. As broadband wireless access technology and communication technology to a more advanced stage continuous speech, choice for communication service of smart grid was increasing, but there is no any kind of communication mode to meet the needs of all the service. According to the different requirements of different traffic types on the communication coverage area, transmission delay, service rate and so on.Useing different communication technology to meet the different needs of the business, is the develop trend of intelligent grid communication system, but also is a research hotspot of the field of heterogeneous network.In the existing research network and the key index for judging are properties of the network itself, in intelligent grid application environment, preference of service in terms of safety and cost must has considered. And the existing heterogeneous network selection solutions, mostly for mobile communication terminal of wireless heterogeneous network fusion model, was lackedresearch and analysis of the intelligent distribution grid environment. Analysis services demand model, has proposed to fuse the power linecarrier communication, LTE 230 MHz, LTE 1.8GHz, GPRS/UTMS of four kinds of communication way of heterogeneous overlay network model. Selection of heterogeneous network based on multiple attribute decision selection algorithm, reasonable distribution of intelligent grid of different communication service coverage area, transmission delay, service rate, safety and cost to use of the weight, to provide users with the best access network scenarios. Through simulation of actual communication environment to verify the correctness of algorithm in the network selection, by business blocking rate and total business service experience index analysis of the research method in this paper is superior to the other schemes.
