Quartz crystal components are the one of the most widely used basic components, in the field of electronic components.They can be widely used in various electronic technology applications. The different types of quartz crystal oscillator were occupied the "heart"position" in modern electronic systems and equipment,and the field of precision frequency measurement and control. With the rapid development of digital technology, quartz crystal oscillator moving in miniaturization, chip, high precision and high stability, low noise, high frequency, low power consumption, fast start direction, and the crystal oscillator applications will be more extensive, demand will become richer and more.Currently China's electronic products will develop quickly to the small size, consumer electronics products, light and miniaturization enable SMD package products has gradually become the mainstream, the rapid development of mobile information device market also contributed to the crystal oscillator products toward miniaturization direction. From the past 7050 products (7.0 mm x 5.0mm), After 6035 products (6.0 mm x 3.5 mm) and 5032 products (5.0mm x 3.2mm) and gradually developed to the current mainstream 3225 products (3.2mm x 2.5mm), with small currently promoting 2520 products (2.5 mm x 2.0mm) has replaced 3225 products trend.2016 X 1.6mm SMD (2.0mm) although the current orders less, but in accordance with the current trend of miniaturization of electronic components, the future is bound to become the mainstream product of the crystal resonator.At present,2016 miniaturization in the SMD quartz crystal resonator is still in the primary stage of development, and the pass rate is very low. Just because it is in the primary stage, also in line with the development trend of electronic components, the price is relatively high. Therefore, the process for the development of 2016 products will affect the profit margins of small and 2016 products in the future market share.This study intends to use P company as the research background, to use FW16M product as the 2016 small size improve product. Firstly, the development trend and future development trend of SMD quartz crystal resonators are introduced, then the composition and process flow of SMD quartz crystal resonators are briefly described. Find out the potential influence factors of the process flow through the QFD method. We use the causality diagram to find affecting the possible causes of quartz crystal resonator, And through the field investigation and experiments to confirm which is the main reason. Then by using taguchi design and DOE design to find out the key parameters of optimal Settings, At last, through actual production verification the effectiveness to key parameter set for RR value improve, so as to solve the SMD quartz crystal resonator 2016 16m qualified rate is low, so as to achieve the purpose of improving quality of SMD quartz crystal resonator FW16M products, for enterprises to reduce costs, improve efficiency, increase benefit.
