Design And Implementation Of Vessel Traffic Information Management And Visualization System

With the rapid development of China's economy and society, the implementation of national maritime rights and maritime strategy, the maritime traffic safety equipment have become increasingly demanding. Vessel traffic management system is one of the most important equipment in the areas of maritime control. And it also becomes a necessary tool to implement our maritime rights and maritime law enforcement. After decades of research and application of technology, western countries have formed a relatively complete technical system. However, our country in this field is still at an initial state. Therefore, the development of vessel traffic information management and visualization System is a prerequisite for the establishment of maritime traffic management systems with independent intellectual property.The software system research described in this paper is intended to focus on the development directions of the "intelligent traffic management system", "hig3-tech fields supported by the state- Smart transportation technical field" and "critical infrastructure intelligence reform ". They are specifically mentioned in the documents of "Long-term Science and Technology Development Plan(2006-2020)" and "the State Council on accelerating the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries- generation of information technology industries". This research can also meet maritime control and some other major national needs. Therefore, it has important scientific research value.This paper makes study design and implementation of vessel traffic information management and visualization system. In the system design and implementation, the paper carefully analysized the background information of vessel traffic information management and visualization system, and provided an overview of its current development. Then this paper systematically analyzed current domestic and international situation and development trend and made an overview of technical solutions and pathway used in the system development. It also described the design of each module of the information processing in vessel traffic management system(such as traffic display and control software module, information management software module) and introduced the achievement. Finally, this paper made a summary and outlook of the supporting software of vessel traffic information management and visualization system.
