Base station antenna is one of the important components of mobile communication.In recent years,the development of mobile communication becomes faster and faster,and the4 G has gradually matured.In order to save the installation resources for base station,and reduce the cost of network construction,the research of broadband base station antenna is essential.Multi-array broadband dual polarization antenna with superior performance covers multiple frequency bands,and meets the needs of communication technology.This paper mainly studies the radiation unit,multi-array antenna,the antenna with combiner and feed network.The main research contents of this paper can be summarized as follows.The antenna radiation unit is the basis of the antenna.In this paper,a kind of broadband base station antenna with dual polarization and low standing wave height is designed.The radiating element is designed based on the principle of complementary antenna source,which is mainly composed of two square dipole antenna,circular support base,double inverted L type feeder and reflector plate.That meets the requirements of the radiation pattern,VSWR and isolation.The multi-array antenna and the antenna with combiner are simulated by HFSS electromagnetic simulation software.The influence of different parameters on its horizontal beam width,front-to-back ratio and cross-polarization ratio is studied.And the paper uses AWR software to optimize the antenna index,so that the actual antenna index gets stable.The feed network is an important part of the antenna,and can cooperate with the radiation unit to ensure antenna performance.In the last chapter,the principle of phased array antenna is analyzed from the theory,and the power divider and phase shifter are studied.By using the power divider and the phase shifter,a new feed network is designed to complete the beam forming.And the antenna gain,sidelobe suppression and other indicators meet the requirements of mobile communications.
