As the water pollution is getting more and more serious,the global water environment becomes worse,which has severely affected the development of society and economy.Usually people check the water quality by period,so we can't know the sudden changes such as the flushing of waste water.Therefore,it's necessary to build a real-time the water quality monitoring system.At present the online video monitoring systems are popular,but the technology is widely used in the field of public security mainly by cable transmission.Based on the research of 4G and GPON,a solution of an online real-time water monitoring system by mobile phone is designed in this paper.Firstly,this paper systematically expounds the importance and research background of monitoring technology of water environment,gives the purpose and significance of the study,and points out the main content and innovation of the study.The related technology of the 4G and GPON is introduced,especially the technology of 4G network optimization scheme and the present stage achievement.Secondly,the application of mobile video surveillance in the dynamic monitoring project of Public Security Department is analyzed,suggesting that the GPON technology could be effective in the network access layer.This provides a case for the water pollution monitoring system.Thirdly,the hardware conditions and experimental platform for the video monitoring system of water environment is analyzed,and the overall design of the system is introduced,particularly the module division and the point location of the GPON access system.Finally,the online water quality monitoring is achieved by using the mobile phone software--"Hehuiyan".Finally,the variations of transparency and color through time and location are analyzed by experiment and thus I achieve the goal of water quality monitoring.Short of time and condition,the research on water quality monitoring system still has much improvement to work on,and I expect a better result by adding data collection and analysis which would be transmitted from sensor to mobile phone.
