| The establishment and development of nature reserve has important significance for the protection of biodiversity and endangered wildlife.The reasonable planning for one reserve’s location,area and functional zone is the premise of a reserve whether can play the biggest role.With the development of spatial information technology,especially geography information system,more and more scholars introduce this technology into the construction and research of the reserve and make great achievements,successfully developed many nature reserve GIS platforms.These platforms change the traditional way of using paper chart to manage the data of protected area,which greatly expand the manner of data management and sharing,simultaneously,improve the efficiency of management and decision making.However,during the development process of these platforms,the demand of reserve planner is not fully considered by developers,resulting in the platform is short of planning assistant function which is indispensable for a planner.After comparative and summarize for currently existing nature reserve GIS platforms and programming techniques.This paper uses the free and open source JavaScript library packages OpenLayers3 and Three.js to construct the assistant planning platform for Wuyanling National Nature Reserve in Zhejiang.This platform is running in the browser end and not need install any third party plugin,thus guaranteeing the platform is easy available and use.This paper mainly completes the following four tasks:(1)implement the visualization of each functional zone boundary,and provide the functions to control each zone’s show and hide status,highlighted and attribute information introduction;(2)implement the visualization of basic elements,such as vegetation,residential points,main roads,main rivers,rare wildlife,and provide the function of controlling the show and hide status for some elements,that will contribute planners to load elements by demand;(3)implement the functions of spatial measure,feature edit and spatial analysis,such as length and area measurement,area index and shape index.This module is helpful to reduce casualness and subjectivity for planning work,thus making the result of plan more accurate;(4)implement the 3D visualization of reserve terrain,slope,aspect and watershed,and provide plentiful interactive functions,such as zooming,panning,rotation and so on.The topographic relief’s 3D display is more intuitive and real than 2D display,which will help planner obtain more reliable and true information.In addition to the above four tasks,nature reserve planning case analysis is implemented in the fifth part of the paper,that is simulating two planning scenes to display the value of this platform.One is when the area of core zone is determined,and then how to design other functional zones;the other one is when the total area of the reserve is determined,and then how to design each functional zone.Furthermore,this article also discusses the currently planning layout base on area of each functional zone and shape index.Meanwhile,this paper detailedly introduce the characteristic and key classes of two main techniques Openlyers3 and Three.js.Wuyanling National Nature Reserve planning assistant platform mainly serves for planner to improve planning efficiency and also provides reference and decision making support for nature reserve administrators,furthermore,normal users can browse reserve by this platform.At the same time,the platform contributes to broadcast the biodiversity protection knowledge and make more people join in this great work.Wuyanling National Nature Reserve belongs to typical mountain type nature reserve;the construction of this platform can provide reference for other mountain type nature reserves. |
