The Design Of Online Education Platform Based On Cloud Computing

Learning is always an activity that is human indispensable,human not stopping and constantly cognizing world in the long history of human development.How to make people learn more effectively and more conveniently has been the core problem of pedagogy and related area concerning.The development of computer technology greatly promoted the development of human education methods and tools,while the development of Internet technology provides a huge development space and challenge for the modern education technology.With the development of information technology,new learning patterns emerge in endlessly in which one of the most influential is the network learning also known as online learning(E-learning).Through the deep research and analysis of online education platform,this paper found that the online learning environment of the current education units is mainly developed with the individual as the unit,and each site related hardware facilities configured generally only satisfy a certain number of users to access to,when a large number of users access to the site at the same time,the system breakdown easier.And with the increasing range of learning resources,storage space is too tight.In view of the above problem,this paper will design an online education platform which takes full advantage of the distributed data storage capacity of the cloud platform and achieve resources to be stored and used effectively based on cloud computing.The main work is as follows:Firstly,it introduces online education and related theoretical knowledge of cloud computing,and Google cloud platform GAE briefly is introduced.Secondly,analyzing the shortcomings of the traditional online learning platform and combining with powerful data storage capacity of cloud computing,this paper proposed an online learning platform designing method based on cloud computing platform,which takes full advantage of the distributed data storage capacity of the cloud platform,not only to change the traditional dispersed education information model,but also to get software and hardware resources to be shared in the maximum extent and widest range,and to reduce educational information technology costs.Finally,it built an online learning web application utilizing J2 EE language and deployed the web application created onto GAE to achieve an online learning system based on cloud platform,and the system operational safety,reliability and otherperformance indicators were tested.The system that basically realized the function of online education system based on cloud platform achieved the optimization of the allocation of resources and distributed data storage,which enhanced the effectiveness and practicability of the system.
