With the continuous development of Wi-Fi technology,and the promotion of the city’s wireless,Wi-Fi technology has been widely used in various industries.At the same time,Location-based services market is also developing rapidly.The demand for location-based services is also growing.Because GPS technology has limits on power consumption,positioning range and accuracy,it has important practical significance of Wi-Fi positioning technology.Wi-Fi based location technology will meet the demands of various environment,rapid speed and lower power consumption.It is a viable method to break the bottleneck of positioning technology in mobile Internet field.In recent years,LBS mobile operators has seriously affected the user’s experience feeling due to the bad accuracy and response time.It has limited the development and expansion of the location of the business.Therefore we need to develop a new positioning platform,which can provide higher positioning accuracy and faster response time.Then we can enable them to provide more quality services for application platforms and mobile phone users effectively,reliably,and economically.Wi-Fi positioning services are location-based fingerprint technology.By collecting,filtering,and analyzing the mobile terminal data,Wi-Fi data,and GPS location data,it will form a basic location database when the accumulated data reaches a certain amount.When the terminal application initiates a positioning request,it can estimate the location of the mobile terminal,based on existing location database,combined with related mathematical algorithm.This essay has a deep research on Wi-Fi positioning technologies.It introduces the algorithm,the communication protocols,call flow,message processing of terminals and location platforms.It highlights the system architecture and implementations.It mentions the core idea and modular design method.Also,it describes the relationship between the function of each module of the system,the test methods and test cases,and finally the test samples provided by customers.The system will provides the functionality verification tests.Test results show that the system actually meet s the design requirements,and achieves the expected results.
