The Design And Implementation Of Research Management Information System For University Based On B/S Mode

With the continuous development of higher education and scientific research institutions of higher education has become an increasingly important part of the function.Research management is an important guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of research activities,the traditional scientific management mode can’t meet the demand for rapid development of scientific research scale.In order to improve the efficiency of research management,service levels,and promote research and development,design and implementation of RMIS(Research Management Information System)for university based on B/S mode.The research management information platform firmly based on the needs of the overall planning of research and management of the school,the background using the SQL Server database,the system features the use of J2EE technology integration technology Hibernate and Struts framework development.Whole is divided into data processing layer,business logic,and presentation layers four control architecture to achieve a teacher research collection and statistical research administrator approval two rights management.Teachers can collect through teacher research module for scientific research reporting,modify,query,delete,and statistical functions,research administrators can implement audit of research by research management module,query,subtotals,multidimensional analysis and results identification and other functions;the majority of in-service teachers and laboratory research teams within the effective time limit at any location by logging into the science and technology research management at the project web query and reporting,to achieve the research submitted,project Application and approval procedures transformed to a simple man-machine operation by repetitive manual operations,to avoid human error caused due to heavy business processes to solve the research focused on the management reporting,centralized receiving and other inefficiencies in time and space;by the information system,research management staff to carry out research projects throughout each lifecycle management,through a unified data model,providing each angle view of project activities related to the analysis,research and management to make a reasonable allocation of resources for the project,to ensure that the project effective implementation and follow up results of the project.University research management system based on B/S mode greatly improves the efficiency of research management,providing a basis for decision support university research administrators,to a certain extent,advanced information technology and network to develop in the direction of university research management.
